Agreement to Terms
By accessing this website or engaging the services of [Company Name] ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website or services.
1. Services Description
30 Second Appeal is a private property tax consultation firm. Our services may include, but are not limited to:
- Reviewing property assessment records on your behalf
- Advising on the feasibility of filing a property tax appeal or grievance
- Preparing and appeal documentation to the applicable assessment authority
- Providing general property tax advisory and education
NOTE:
We are not a law firm. Unless explicitly stated and separately engaged, our consultants are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice. For legal representation in court proceedings, you should retain a licensed attorney.
2. Engagement & Scope of Work
2.1 Service Agreement
All formal consulting engagements are governed by a separate Service Agreement or Engagement Letter signed between you and 30 Second Appeal. These Terms & Conditions supplement, but do not replace, that agreement.
2.2 No Guarantee of Outcome
Property tax appeal outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including assessor decisions, applicable law, and local procedures. We make no guarantee that your assessed value will be reduced or that any appeal will be successful. Our commitment is to provide knowledgeable, diligent representation on your behalf.
2.3 Contingency & Fee Arrangements
Fees may be structured on a contingency basis, a flat fee, as outlined in your Service Agreement. By engaging our services, you agree to the fee structure detailed therein.
3. Client Obligations
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely information necessary to perform the services
- Promptly respond to requests for documentation, signatures, or additional details
- Notify us of any changes to your contact information or property ownership status
- Not engage another consultant or attorney for the same property dispute without notifying us
- Pay all fees in accordance with your Service Agreement
- Failure to fulfill these obligations may result in delays, reduced effectiveness of services, or termination of the engagement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 30 Second Appeal shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website
- Errors or omissions in property data obtained from public records or third-party sources
- Losses resulting from appeal decisions made by government assessment authorities

7. Confidentiality
We agree to keep your personal, financial, and property information confidential in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate the consulting engagement with written notice, subject to terms outlined in your Service Agreement. These Terms & Conditions shall survive termination with respect to any obligations or liabilities incurred prior to termination.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of MA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or the services provided shall first be subject to good-faith mediation.
